For working seniors. If you are Medicare-eligible and still working, you have a real decision to make between your employer's group health plan and Medicare. The rules are not always what your friends or the TV tell you, and getting the timing wrong can cost you. We help you understand how the two work together so you can choose what fits your situation. There is no additional charge for my time and guidance on Medicare questions.
For employers and HR leaders. Keeping the Medicare-eligible employees you have, or hiring more, can be one of the better moves a small business makes. Experienced staff tend to stay longer and bring customer service skill and steadiness that are hard to find. We help your team understand how to manage benefits for these employees. Common Questions
Do you charge seniors for Medicare help?
There is no additional charge for my time and guidance. I am compensated by the plan a client enrolls in, and it does not change their premium, no matter which plan they choose, so there is no reason for me to steer you anywhere. My job is to help you understand your options and help you to make your own decision that fits your needs.
I'm still working and about to turn 65. What should I look at first?
Two things: how many people your employer has, and whether you have group coverage now. Those two facts shape your timing and whether you can delay Medicare without a penalty. We can map it out with you.
Will hiring a Medicare-eligible worker complicate our group insurance?
It depends on your plan and your company size, and there is a right way to handle the coordination. We can walk your team through how Medicare and group coverage work together so there are no surprises.
